Yes, I've played .45 Adventures several times. Good game, and I like the mechanics, but you need a group of players with the right mindset to really have a great time.
I've become enamored with WHERE HEROES DARE! which should be published shortly by IRON IVAN GAMES [link] , based on their Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers WW2 rules but with many more options for creating your characters. Lucky enough to be part of the playtest crew.
